SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Opening Reception for "STILLE"
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Exhibition Opening=0D=0A=0D=0ASILENCE=0D=0A=0D=0AWhat is silence?=0D=0AThis question sparked a very moving and creative exchange among nine=0D=0Amembers of MV-Foto. =0D=0ASilence is by no means “nothing,” but rather a reality of its own=0D=0Athat can be felt. The philosopher Kierkegaard observed: “When=0D=0Aeverything is silent, the most is happening.”=0D=0AThus, in addition to technical execution, the photographer’s inner=0D=0Aattitude is crucial—a conscious slowing down and presence in the=0D=0Amoment of taking the picture. This inner calm, conveyed through the=0D=0Aimage, is perceived by the viewer as a quiet atmosphere.=0D=0AIn this way, silence becomes a powerful visual language in its own=0D=0Aright.=0D=0A=0D=0A
