DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The story of a summer in 1959 =0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AFlensburg, 1959. Gustav Hasse, pianist in a swing-and-rock-n-roll=0D=0Astudent band, spends the summer vacation at a campsite by Gelting Bay.=0D=0AHis thoughts are with Johanna, the daughter of a lingerie saleswoman=0D=0Afrom East Prussia. If only it weren't for the slap he gave her out of=0D=0Ajealousy. He feels guilty, but what is guilt to him? His art teacher=0D=0Ais the painter Gerhard Fritz Hensel, whose sister Hedwig was married=0D=0Ato the Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höß; no one knows that at the=0D=0Atime. More and more, Gustav is getting to the bottom of the monstrous=0D=0Alarge and small things.
