SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Thinking it over
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Traveling children's play for ages 5 and up | by Ove Thomsen and Melf=0D=0APetersen | adapted for the stage by Katharina Mahnke=0D=0A=0D=0AGunnelt the anteater doesn’t know what to do—he just has too much=0D=0Aon his plate! He actually enjoys being the caretaker of the=0D=0Arainforest. He likes being there for all the other animals when they=0D=0Aneed him. But for some reason, nothing brings him joy right now. It=0D=0Afeels like it’s _raining__inside his head_! His roommate Guschi, the=0D=0Aarmadillo, advises, “Relax a little—go for a walk!” Luckily,=0D=0AGunnelt’s path leads him to Dr. Willi the monkey. He has an=0D=0Aimportant tip for him: P. A. U. S. E. Will the sun shine again for=0D=0AGunnelt soon?=0D=0A=0D=0AIn their picture book debut, Hamburg-based author and=0D=0Asinger-songwriter Ove Thomsen and illustrator Melf Petersen explain in=0D=0Aa child-friendly and imaginative way how to be mindful and take care=0D=0Aof oneself. In 2023, they received the “Low German Book of the=0D=0AYear” award for this work, because when it comes to mindfulness,=0D=0Atoo, the early bird catches the worm. Now, the musical rainforest=0D=0Aadventure is coming to the Fritz-Reuter-Bühne for the first=0D=0Atime—taking the stage that means the world—and will then tour=0D=0Akindergartens and schools across the state.=0D=0A=0D=0AAges 5 and up=0D=0AMobile production available upon request for kindergarten and=0D=0Aclassroom performances=0D=0ABookings via mahnke@mecklenburgisches-staatstheater.de=0D=0A
