He doesn’t hide=0D=0Atheir origins. Keys remain keys; scrap remains scrap. Yet through new=0D=0Aconnections, objects lose their unambiguous meaning. What was just a=0D=0Atool a moment ago suddenly raises questions about opening and closing,=0D=0Apossession and loss, knowledge and certainty.=0D=0A=0D=0AJohannes Terbach, born in Langenberg in 1966, is a stonemason,=0D=0Asculptor, performer, and action artist. Yet his work cannot be=0D=0Apigeonholed into any of these categories. Sculpture, photography,=0D=0Aobjects, new media, and performance joyfully collide in his work.
