Located right on the lake, the Ratzeburg Youth Hostel=0D=0Aprovided the perfect setting. =0D=0ASome of us took advantage of the breaks to take a dip in the lake.=0D=0ASpray bottles, fans, hand fans, damp towels… anything that could=0D=0Aprovide a bit of relief from the heat was put to use. Armed with=0D=0Aplenty of idealism, a great sense of humor, relaxed discipline, and a=0D=0Adeep joy in being together—and constantly challenged by our=0D=0Aenergetic choir director Barbara Rupp—the singers achieved the=0D=0Adesired result by the end of the workshop. =0D=0AThe foundation for the 2026 summer repertoire had been laid. Once=0D=0Aagain, there will be a varied program featuring old hits to sing along=0D=0Ato and a few new songs to enjoy.
