SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Piano Power Station
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Boogie and Rock 'n' Roll in the spa gardens Baltic resort Boltenhagen=0D=0A=0D=0AOn two pianos and one drum set, PIANO POWER STATION makes boogie and=0D=0Arock 'n' roll shine in a completely new rocky glow. The fresh and=0D=0Acreative playing style of the three musicians is absolutely=0D=0Atransmitted to the audience. The repertoire includes not only their=0D=0Aown songs but also newly arranged titles by the Beatles, the Rolling=0D=0AStones, old rock 'n' roll stars and classical composers.=0D=0AHarald Wittkowski, the head of the band, has helped write a piece of=0D=0AEast German music history. In the 80s he became known with the=0D=0Aelectronic duo POND. In addition to many radio and TV hits, he=0D=0Arecorded several LPs and CDs and the film music for the 10-part=0D=0Atelevision series "Auf der Seidenstraße" (On the Silk Road). After=0D=0Aworking as a solo pianist at the Berlin theater "Die Kneifzange" in=0D=0A1993 and rediscovering his love for the natural piano, the trained=0D=0Amusician and piano teacher founded the PIANO POWER STATION with his=0D=0Athen master student Hendrik Hache in 2000. The drums were played until=0D=0Ahis death in 2004 by Frank Hille, formerly of the "Veronika Fischer=0D=0ABand". Robby Hund, who came from the blues, joined the band as a new=0D=0Adrummer in 2005. Martin Zöllig took over the second piano part in=0D=0A2010. He won 2nd place in the "Jugend komponiert" competition with a=0D=0Ajazz composition in 2004.=0D=0A
