In January 2022, the four musicians from the very north of Sweden travelled to Clouds Hill Studios in Hamburg, Germany, to record their self-titled debut record: Vännäs Kasino. A pure and passionate punk rock record. 16 songs with a total length of less than 30 minutes. “True punk spirit”, as HYMN (SE) stated. The album was pressed on vinyl in a limited run on 500 hand-numbered copies, with the band spray-painting 100 record sleeves by themselves. Not being available on streaming platforms, “Vännäs Kasino” was only offered at the band’s few live shows and later via their Instagram and Bandcamp account, and finally in selected record stores. A colored repress followed in early 2024. In November 2024, the quartet finally released its second LP. „15 songs of no nonsense fast rock that feels more defined and focused than our first album.“, describes Dennis Lyxzén the record. „It started as an idea to record a new EP but the writing process was so much fun that it ended up being a full album.“ Other than the debut, this album was recorded in Sweden. “We meet up with Johann Scheerer in Sundsvall in the beautiful Nova Studio for an intense 5 days. The ambition was to create a lean sort of mix tape of our favourite punk and hardcore music but done in our own way. The result speaks for itself and it’s a wonderful tight and fun album.“

This band deserves to play in front of people! What the duo gets out of their instruments alone is simply insane!” (Away From Life). Chaos Commute play modern guitar rock and present on their debut album Fairytales and Nightmares twelve songs to sing along and pogo, but also to think about and feel for. The Berliners were on tour in Europe in 2020 with RAMONES legend Richie Ramone when the first Corona wave broke out. That was a damper, but they poured all that excess energy into recording Fairytales and Nightmares. In 2021, the KROD Records label signed the band and released a full six singles, including entertaining videos, to herald the album. Now Chaos Commute finally present their work live, because the Berliners are known for their energetic shows!
