Thalia Campus Party
Donnerstag, 18.06.2026 / 22:30 Uhr / Nachtasyl
YUNG_WOMB is a DJ, selector, and radio host based in Hamburg, known for her genre-bending style. As co-founder of the DJ network SLIC Unit and resident at Queerpol and Golden Pudel Club, she plays an integral role in enriching underground club culture.
Influenced by the many CDs her parents bought for their dance classes, she began creating her own performances, to this overload of folkloric sounds, as well as 90s and 00s Hip-Hop, Neo Soul and Merengue Hip-Rap. It’s no surprise that her selections to this day reflect how heavily she is influenced by the way the tune makes you move.
With a diverse spectrum of styles, her vinyl collection highlights 70s and 80s jazz, contemporary jazz, funk, and vintage salsa and Caribbean music. In the club, her sets are a harmonious blend of baile funk, afro-latin bass, house, and U.S. club music, immersing listeners in the exhilarating sounds of the diaspora. The infectious joy she brings to her performances is truly irresistible.
