TABLA WORKSHOP with the tabla master Saradindu Adhikary from Calcutta, student of Pandit Tanmoy Bose.

Beginners to intermediate and advanced level

Objective: To provide students with a foundational understanding of the tabla, including its history, playing technique, basic bols, and introduction to the Indian rhythmic system through Kaida.

-Introduction to Tabla & Historical Context

-Basic Tabla Bols & Sound Production Techniques

-The Language of Rhythm – Taal System in Indian Music

-Introduction to Kaida – Compositions in Tabla

-Application, Improvisation & Performance

Fee for the 6 hours workshop: 60 euro
