Gartengruppe im Wilhelmsburger Inselpark

Gartengruppe im Wilhelmsburger Inselpark

  • Nature & environment
  • Free of charge

We meet in a weekly gardening group from March to November to garden together in Wilhelmsburg Island Park. Afterwards, we usually enjoy a coffee or cold drink together.

There are a variety of tasks that volunteers can take on in coordination with the park administration. Depending on the season, various gardening tasks arise – from tending flowerbeds, removing weeds and invasive (non-native) species, planting bulbs and perennials, harvesting edible plants, and collecting seeds – there's something for everyone. Projects such as building deadwood hedges or lizard walls can also be implemented. Depending on your interests and previous experience, we will find a suitable task for you!

If you would like to join in or take a look, please contact us at wilhelmsburgerinselpark@hamburg-mitte.hamburg.de.
