Ariel, the Little Mermaid, and her best friend Kurt, a pufferfish, live at the bottom of the sea. Ariel desperately wants to experience the human world—even though she's not old enough and the laws of the sea forbid it. But Ariel swims to the surface anyway. When she sees the handsome Prince Olaf, she's smitten; she falls madly in love with him. King Magnus is furious, and Ariel sees only one chance to win the prince's love: she must become a human herself!
