Speaker: Helge Masch

For 94 years, right on the Wandse, a thriving oasis. Founded in 1926 by the Wandsbeker Lehrerverein as a school garden, the Botanical Garden Wandsbek is today a place where you can see native and exotic plants. The greenhouse and the 1.5 hectares of open land as well as the approximately 10 hectares of wall greenland are visited during this two-hour guided tour. The head of the special garden, Helge Masch, who has been working here for 37 years, will talk about history, the present and the future and answer your questions.
The focus is on the concept, exciting plants but also the connection between flora and fauna in times of climate change.
